Driver Rehab Hawaii provides Professional Driver Assessment services.
We all want to be safe drivers as long as possible. The best way to ensure we are safe is to get a professional driving assessment. An assessment can recognize possible shortcomings, allowing a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist to develop a customized drivers’ training plan to provide maximum safety and independence while driving.
Consider getting a Professional Driver Assessment if:
You are concerned that your driving skills may have diminished over time.
You have concerns regarding results of informal self-assessments, such as the American Automobile Association's Drivers 65 Plus program.
You have been diagnosed with a medical condition known to impact driving ability (e.g., impaired vision, dementia, diabetes, seizures, sleep disorders, stroke, heart conditions).
You have experienced a recent increase in near misses or minor crashes.
Friends and/or family have suggested that you should drive less or not at all.
Sandra received the Volunteer Service Award for her work with ADED, The Association of Driver Rehabilitation Specialists. She previously served as a Board member for ADED and co-chair of the Certification Committee. Additionally, she is a CarFit Instructor for the State of Hawaii, and worked with AARP, AAA, AOTA, and OTAH to coordinate and educate people at CarFit Events and Trainings.
